A quiet record of the miles you choose to keep.
Your route stays on this device
Tracking starts only when you choose Start. Route points are saved locally on this device and are never uploaded or shared by this feature. Map tiles are requested from OpenStreetMap, which can see the approximate area shown. Share My Location is separate and always requires a separate opt-in.
Private route recording
Map tiles need internet. GPS recording can continue offline when your device still provides location fixes; no offline map is stored. Map tiles are provided by OpenStreetMap; tile requests reveal the approximate map area being viewed.© OpenStreetMap contributors
Share My Location is separate
Recording never sends your location to another person. If you want to share a pin or temporary live location, start that feature separately.
